It has been a while since my last update. I had some trouble with my hotmail being taken over by a scam artist. They sent out emails asking for money, saying I was stranded in London without passport or money and it has taken me about a week to regain access to my hotmail account [...]

On Feb 17, Adan and I met with several community members, the teachers and the School Director, to propose our idea of teaching in the primary school. We outlined a program to teach painting and colour theory in conjunction with learning about the ecology of northern Canada as compared to their local village in Oaxaca. Each child would make a journal to be used [...] Haruko and I went out to San Augustine Etla to see Adan and Lorena yesterday and we are going to house sit for them for 10 days starting on Tuesday…when they get back we will search for another place to stay. In the meantime Lorena is asking around a little more and I am sure [...]

Joyce Majiski has published a new e-book called "Canto: a collection of wishes". The e-book, available online for free, contains images of Joyce's work and the wishes or prayers left by the public in her copper Canto prayer wheels at the Voz/Voice exhibition. Check it out on our e-book page.
